Journal Options
The Journal Options Maintenance is where you setup how Journals function within your LightWork system.
Helpful Information:

Author
This is the User who created the Journal.

Allow Private
Allows you to set a Journal to private. -
Default to Private
Defaults a Journal to private every time a new Journal is created.
Note: This can always be unselected when creating a Journal. -
Create for Self
Allows a User to create a Journal for themselves. -
Create for Direct Reports
Allows a Manager to create a Journal for Direct Reports. -
Create for Indirect Reports
Allows a Manager to create a Journal for those who do not report directly to them. -
Author Can Edit
Allows the author (creator) of a Journal to edit the Journal. -
Author Can Delete
Allows the author (creator) of a Journal to delete the Journal. -
'About' Employee Can Edit
Allows the Employee the Journal is assigned to access to edit the Journal. -
'About' Employee Can Delete
Allows the Employee the Journal is assigned to access to delete the Journal. -
Field Access Tab

Title
Allows the title for a Journal to be available and/or required. -
Journal Type
Allows the type for a Journal to be available and/or required. -
Description
Allows the description for a Journal to be available and/or required. -
Save
Once you are satisfied with your selections, click on 'Save'.
